we are planing a trip out to the Dubois area staying near LavaMountain Lodge ...Our Plans are to take in 1 maybe 2 days of the climbs and then 4 days of Riding .....Our plans are to drive from Lava everyday to the Hill Climbs ...I have never been to the Hill Climbs so I am wondering How, where ,when and Parking .....
The Climbs are March 22nd to the 25th which would be the best day to go ...Where is the best place to park

park

you just kind of end up parking on the street whereever and walking in, no big deal. easiest if you dont have your trailer obviously. ride the chair lift to the top and walk down the hill so you can see somthing. dress like your going to ride cause youll be standing in snow on a grade and bring a camera for the rest of us.

Leave your trailer at the hotel and park as close to the event as possible. Bring some chairs and sit at bottom and put your Swarovski binoculars and spotting scope up then you don't have to ride the lift and you can watch the action all day

Mod Day is Saturday.

Saturday is Mod Day! Best viewing of the weekend. Thurs and Fri racing only goes to the 1st catwalk. With the exception of some semi- pro and ladies finals. Sleds go to the top of the mountain saturday. Don't miss the Mods!
