I've asked this before but never gotten a response. 13.6 head full SLP. Same map I ran last year, sled rips but is down some temp at full throttle. EGTs show around a thousand, previous was 1150. It pulls super strong, it's spring time so I'd expect it to be fat. What I'm wondering is do others pull fuel from the top with this head?

yes that would be common.
I would take fuel away till you get close to 1150/1175*. If it was a 800 I would say 1225/1250

Call Kelsey to be sure as the higher compression head might be to lean at 1150*

Thanks for the reply, strange no one else runs an Rkteck head on a 1000. I'll wait till next year to tune it in the cold weather. I don't mind a bit fat in the summer, just don't want it lean in the cold.

I run one but always have so nothing to compare to what elevation are you running at and what fuel.

I ran a 13.5:1 RKT head with full SLP package on my previous M1000. I also ran STM's bellows style exhaust valves. I've no BD numbers for you as this as two seasons ago, and I ran a PCV with a map from Eric at Racin Station. I did find that it needed to be leaned out at WOT, Eric tweaked the map so I ran 1150-1170 on a long pull, but sled ran flawlessly.

Thanks for the replys guys. Good to hear that it needs to be leaned out a bit. For the questions, I ride from about 3000-7500. I started out with about half Av. but have found I can run 91. I just don't get on it till 5000' plus. There is only one area I ride where I might want to open it up say from about 3500' I throw a few gallons of Av. in for there.
