sounds like alot of messing around . sounds like you ride a fair amount 4300 miles my suggestion would be use what you have and put the ho head on and run a boondocker 1 degree e key and ride it like you stole it. that combo works well at low alt 2000 ft and pump gas . just my thoughts . good luck
