I am running a sks. What are people with chaincases running for gears with 2.6?

UP I'd go 2.4 unless you like doing 100 on the trail...

Most common destinations out west 2.3.

I ride at 1500'. We have a trip planned in a few weeks to colorado. I currently have the stock 7 tooth with 2.6 and 20/40 gears. I have a ton of gears laying around. I will try the 2.3. I have a 1.5" that I race with and 25/40 gears that will barely get to 100mph. Thanks

Also remember you will be adding rotating weight when changing the gears.
