Has anyone ever toyed with the idea of the 1200 triple in a ZX chassi? My dad has an 03 800 H.O. with a wasted motor,...the chassi is still sound, with Ti springs all around, a 162 camo extreme, and lots of other goodies. He really likes the ZX platform, but has endured several 2stroke rebuilds/burndowns, and now a completely wiped out crank/jugs etc. We are now of the mindset that it would be cool to have this sled powered by the 4 stroke 1200, and have it boosted,...just not sure if the dimensions are workable, and if these engines are even available as salvage? Any feedback on this would be much appreciated!:yo:
