I rode from the centennial side. I went around the east side of the peaks pretty much followed o trail. It was really rocky until I got down into the trees on the north east side. Some of the roads only had 4" on them in spots. We dug down to the dirt in the trees and there was about 38". Still had to be careful.

Not from South Dakota. Only around 30" in most places. Togwotee or Wolf Creek CO are where I'd go if I was taking a road trip.

Hey Eric where is Wolf Creek? I gathered it's in CO but what city is it close to? Where do you park and ride from? Thanks.

No problem....you might look at splitting the difference and go to Rabbit Ears, CO or Buffalo Pass. Best place to stay from what I understand is Walden or Steamboat springs.

Yeah we've been looking at riding rabbit ears for a couple years now just haven't made the trip, too many places to ride that are closer. Thanks for the info.
