I just got my bdx oild delete in the mail and ready to install it, just wondering what everybody is doing for lubrication, bdx instructions say you don't have to do anything but everyone else says you do, should I just slap it on and go? Or should I fill the cavity with oil first? Or use a grease zerk or banjo fitting with a spall reservoir. If using a zerk what type of grease do you guys use, thanks in advance for any info. Just stumped on all the different stuff people are doing

When I did mine, I put a 45 degree grease zerk in where I removed the banjo fitting under the motor. I grease it once or twice a season. It is a 6mm thread.

I like having a zerk & adding grease... then if you feel the need, add once a season, or whatever makes you feel good about the state of the middle east (cause it's really not an issue imo for the delete ;) )
