Been a lack of snow here do did a little footwell mod. Have an extra 4" to move my feet forward and will be a lot easier to get the snow and ice out.

Interesting and nice work. I personally like having that little cave as I often hook it with the toe of my boots to help ride more with my legs (usually pulling up with my toes). Each person is different though - way to think outside of the box!

You screwed it up is what you did. What did you gain? You don't get your foot 4" further up unless you cut off the front 4" of your foot. Whatever and to each their own..........

When you are on a side hill with both feet on one board you don't have your toe hooked in. When I'm on a side hill my feet will be 4" further forward. Have you seen how the xm footwells are carved out on the sides this is the same idea.

^Plus anyone who's ever been dragged with a toe stuck in those damn footwells knows the value. :D

Other side done. Right side is a lot easier. The clutch side needed a curve plate to close it off. Also I'm used to running no toe holds from my m7. Took them off after first ride. I'm not a big cliff jumper so not a real need for me. Also it was a full time job keeping the ice from packing in there. Could hardly get my feet in there half the day anyway. Have to paint the rivets yet don't worry.
