Hope this isn't too stupid but did the M series ever come with electric start?

No they did not and from what I understand it is impossible to put one on
M
Anybody have a girlfriend that can start an 800?
Buy a kit for a pro, motor is mounted remote and cable drives the ring gear. Its doable, will it be expensive, yes. Getting the proper charging system, mounting the ring gear, light weight battery, new key switch and harness.

They have electric start for the Sabercats And F-series. Problem is where to mount the starter motor on the M, but I'm sure it's been done.
My wife can start hers! She is only 5' 2" and 100lbs
