Hi guys! In Russia we do not have to much info for turbo's sled's) We install boondocker turbo kit on 2015 800 Pro RMK 163, and right piston broke's(((
So question! If we install this kit, what we must do with compression ratio?
Sorry if this question was on this forum! Language trouble with search))))

boost was 8psi! elevation from 500 to max 2300 meters!
type of fuel 100 oktane! innovate gauge parameters was 14 on idle speed and 11 12 on ride!
This is all on all stock engine without intercooler!

Is the head stock? I am going to use 11.5 comp, have been using 10.2 but that is to low unless you are running high psi all the time.

Engine all stock!! I think that for biggest boos need lower compression ratio!
We love polaris sleds but problems with stock engines is killing us((( We ride side by side with f*cking ski doo, and they all good, but polaris brokes and brokes(((

So recapped and converted to US units:

8psi on 100 octane
1600ft to 7500ft elevation.

My 2 cents the compression ratio is probably ok. Lots of people running that in the US. The 8psi at 1600ft may be a bit light on the octane. I'm not a boondocker guy so my knowledge is limited. If that was me, I would turn the boost down add av fuel and work your way up carefully on a fresh rebuild. Stick with it, you'll love it when you get it figured out!!

Gas in Russia is no good quality! we think that problem can be in this!
Any thinks????

Poor gas can cause issues, however the detonation sensor should be picking up and cutting the engine out if you are detonating due to poor fuel.

What boost levels are you running at?

i would go for oem, their pistons after 2013-2014 is very good. I went for a mtntk (wiseco) look a like fix kit tho, for my old 2011 turbo.

And what about pistons???? OEM or anything else??
Wossner's good?

I have been running the RKtech rev 1 drop in kit for 2 years with my turbo set-up (Aero-Charger). Which use Wossner Pistons. I have about 1800 miles with this set-up, and haven't had any issues with the pistons. The kit includes a cylinder head that is 120 psi in each cylinder. I have been running 8 to 9 pounds of boost. The Wossner Pistons are top notch in my opinion.

I am skeptical about your issue being a fuel quality issue if your not kicking off the detonation sensor, which should be occurring if you are suffering from poor fuel (Lack of octane for you elevation/ boost level)
