Ok stepping out of my play ground a bit, headed thatta way never been in the area to ride, would appreciate some advice on where to go. I will have a newbe rider with me . thanks!!
Bend area places to ride?

My favorite in that area is Newberry Crater. Access is from the 10 mile snow park east of Lapine. Lots of groomed trails for a new rider with plenty of play areas and very scenic. Heres a couple photos from 2002. we used to live in lapine so went riding mid week to avoid the crowds.

If you leave Bend and drive towards Mt Bachelor in 17 minutes you will reach the first snowpark onthe left which is Wanoga. Tons of snow there now and the fastest place to get on the snow. From there you can go tons of places.
