I know this has been brought up before, but usually people only talk about the new shorty seat or the Boss seat. Riding an M-series gives us the option to choose between as small plethora of seats.

I'm looking for a new seat and would like to hear opinions about all the seats. (stock, AC shorty, boss, WRP mountain assault, and SPG Airframe). Don't forget on those last two to mention whether you went with their storage bags or not as well.

I love my cat seat, one of the best things i have bought for my sled. I like the WRP one as well but its a more spendy and has no storage where as the Cat Shorty seat has loads of DRY space. I like my seat so much that I ordered another one from Michelle this morning! (because i'm a bone head and tore the cover on mine last night.....)

The new Boss seats (with all the zippers) and the ones Cat used in '09 do not compare to the older Boss seats. I love my old style Boss.

Come on guys help me make up my mind! Stuck between the Skinz seat and the WRP. Wanna save some weight yet get a seat that isn't so slippery like my stock cat seat is on my '10 LE

Replaced the Boss with a Skinz, I like the shortness of the seat for switching sides, great bag has clips unhooks quick, good quality all around.

I dont mind the Boss on my 09 except the crappy zippers. Rode a 2011 this past weekend and thought the new seat was comfortable but very slippery.
Really like the look of the Skinz

Love the seat on my 2011 which actually has the Cat accessory black shorty seat because I didn't like the colors on the 2011 seat. The Cat seat is great. Pretty soft for that unfortunate trail riding stuff. Grippy and great storage. Put my lunch, shovel, duct tape and tool kit in there.

I had the stock low seat on my 06 M7. Awful. Hard on your knees when your 6'3"

Had the factory snowcheck Boss seat on my 2009. What a POS. Stitching came apart, plastic part on the sides bubbled, and zippers sucked. Was also too hard IMO. Definitely the most unhappy I have ever been with any aftermarket snowmobile product.

I was heavily disappointed because I had the Boss seat on my EDGE RMK which I bought in 03 and was way better quality. Never had a problem with that one.

2010-11 BOSS

I had a 2009 AC Boss on my HCR and the zipper quality was cheap junk and the foam was hard compared to the replacement 2010-11 Boss I put on it. The 2010-11 Boss has a much softer padding in it. Much improvement over the year or two before it. IMO.... for what its worth...
