So I have a 14 M8, and have been thinking of putting the 16 front end and the new rails and front arm in the suspension. Probably more interested in swapping out the skid then changing the front end. Just wondering what everyones thoughts are. Nobody has brought up swapping out to the new rails yet. Thanks in advance.

Most notable different for me has been the new front end. Makes it so much easier to carve. I'd do a three inch track before doin the rear suspension. Way more bang for your buck IMO.

I would do weight, fix clutching, gear up, before anything. My 14 setup week out pull the 16. And the weight loss is huge on handling. Makes the suspension work better too.

I have hopes for the 16 but it will require a gear up, clutching and the same weight loss to beat the 14, but when those are done it should be a better sled

The rail swap isn't just a quick change out of the rails. The front shock for sure and maybe the front and rear arm have to be changed as well. Best bet would be to find a takeoff skid somewhere that someone swapped with an aftermarket one.

I prefer 8 tooth drivers with 3" ,,, the 7 tooth gears it to low

I think on rail swap it would be the rails and front shock is all, but not 100% sure.

I bought a used prolite that has the 3 inch track and a bunch of other goodies. Was thinking of putting wyoboy's fix for the steering and putting a 16 front end on it. I have a 14 already and my biggest complaint was the steering. I had a polaris pro before this.
