i bought a scoot last fall and all the bogies and torsion springs in the rear suspension had been painted yellow at some point. The yellow is chipped and faded and I want to pull them out and sand blast & re-powdercoat. Short of pulling the whole engine/suspension assembly, what is the easiest way to unload the rear torsion springs so that I can get them out and then back in? Thanks in advance.

Yeah that's what I ended up doing. Going back together now...

I installed grease zerks on any pivot point that moved. I like watching grease ooze out knowing that I can force grease in and water out.
