Hi all,

Been banging my head on this for a while, so.....
I need some help figuring out the instrument cluster wiring on a sled I bought.
It's a 98 MM 700 and only the head light seems to work.
See pics.

None of the instrument light bulbs work, as well as the spedo/RPM/fuel/oil/water/temp gauges don't work either. Underneath, it looks like the spedo cable is physically connected on both ends.

Grip-warmers work! :)

Are the 2 white connectors and the green connector supposed to be hooked up to something? I see an extra black connector for another headlight, but this is just a single headlight sled.

I have the yamaha manual with the wiring diagram that lists the color codes, but only figured out the ones that are connected (smoothing condenser, headlight, etc).

Another useful diagram that I have been using, but only shows one non-connected end coming from the socket cord assembly (#7).

Otherwise, engine/everything else seems just fine, no issues that I can tell.

Any thoughts? Thanks!!!

Update to this:
*seems that the wrong cord/cable was in place.
Correct one should be 8cx-84359-00.
So, I'm getting a new one and replacing soon.
