Are these a must have for a 14 or will the 13 install tools still work?

14 PRO Jack-Shaft changes

To answer the above question the 13 install studs will not work on the 14's
please go to this thread as it has some pictures that show the differance
http://www.snowest.com/forum/showpost.php?p=3403463&postcount=12

In regard to pricing all price info should be available by tomorrow eve on the
Happy Face website we are currently updating to include the new part #s
The new 14 studs will be sold both as a set and separately for those who have
last years tools and a new 14 Pro

The 14 studs will however work fine on a model year 13 PRO

Do you have any distributors up here in Canada? I was going to order a set for my 2014 Pro but the shipping costs are outrageous.

Tools aren't needed to change a belt. They will make it easier, but not something that you have to have. I have seen one changed out on the hill.

I put mine on without tools. Not easy but only took a couple of minutes of trying. It's just a matter of getting the belt cogs and axle/gear splines lined up. I found it easiest for me to do it with the sled on its side.

$10 sounds fair, on the Happy Face webpage the cheapest shipping option to Alberta is also USPS but it starts at $30 and goes up to $90 if i want them couriered.
