Attempting to restore this sled.
Have you or someone you know done this ?
This one is in rough shape, left outdoors a long, long time.
Gear box half full of water, rusty gears and shift forks, but may clean up.
Got the JLO Rockwell 372 motor running and is pulled out.
Want to pull the suspension now and looking at removing the chain case drive sprocket and drive shaft.
Is the drive sprocket and shaft splined, or maybe threaded on, or somehow keyed on in another way ?
Almost seems to new a semi special tool to remove.
What I'm afraid of is someone did a weld repair to sprocket when it was installed on the drive shaft.

Sprocket is double keyed onto shaft . Thought so but wasn't sure. Took 3 guys using auto body pry bars behind the sprocket to pop it off.
