Dude you must have a set of truck scales in your town. Load the sled in the truck, weigh in, load the other one up, and weigh in again.

I'm willing to bet the REV is atleast 10lbs lighter, but that may be a biases opinion. LOL.

Haha i suggested that but didnt know how that was going to work and then we figured we dont have any bathroom scales! I figured it was 20 because the skid dropped a lot of weight and the revs physically lighter feeling, by a lot. We havent got to race em yet but we will saturday and sunday!

Yeah, I'd kill to have that skid, and those shocks on my machine. You must be able to toss that thing around like nothing.

the scales are easy. If you just want to know who's heavier, roll one axel at a time onto the scale and add the two weights. Do that for each machine. If you want to know how much the machines weigh, do a dry run with no sleds, and subtract that from the weight with the sleds.

Sled weight's only part of the equation.... sled, gear, snow accumulation, the fat guy on top of the machine...

Lets say 151 is 5# lighter
Tunnel crap 5#
Timbersled skid 20#
HPS can 10#
sway bar and panels 5#?
Floats 5#

total weight loss is 50lb

REV WEIGHT = 540 lb

M7 162 568#
going to 153 and 09 stuff 10#
Boss Seat 8#
MBRP can 8#

Weight loss 26#

M7 weight = 542 lb

I would agree that both sleds should be within 10 lbs. Not sure which one is lighter. Don't forget the REV holds like 1 gallon less fuel. M might be lighter dry.

Well i was going off the fact that my 05 now is basically an X package, instead of the 05 weight, GlennRMK.

If i gathered 3 scales, whats the process to weighing this out?Take average weights from the scales or what? We dont so much wanna know how much they weigh but whos weighs less.. Believe it or not he put 400 more into his M than i did the rev. When i find a scale to use well get the full wet weight of em and post pics!

Also, his M is clutched, milled head. The revs got 2300 miles, just changed the reeds last trip, and just finally picked up a new secondary for it cuz the stock one and the clutching thats in it sucked when the snow was deep. We raced before the skid went in back in november and he had me by an SRX length, literally. Hes 160# im 200# and we both carry big tool kits.
