Looking for some advice on lodging in Tog. Never been there. TML seems really expensive. How far is crooked creek from TML? Ive heard of guys just staying in dubois to, how far of a drive is it from there to the riding area?

crooked creek is great. You can easily find good snow right around the resort. I dont know the conditions there right now but we will be there first week of feb. TML is a nice place but more expensive, staff not as helpful, and that is the first area to be tracked up... just my opinion. We stayed there once last year and that was enough, will not go back. the further from tog lodge the fewer the tracks. Lava is also a good place we stay at lava or crooked creek usually. hope this helps

Last few trips we stayed at Super 8 in Dubois. 30-40 minute drive up the hill each morn. Great meals avail in downtown Dubois.

Last year we unloaded first day in the LARGE public lot just west of Tog Mtn Lodge and rode south of the highway. Second day unloaded at plowed public lot just west of Brooks Lake Lodge entrance and rode north of highway. Had awesome lunch at Brooks Lake Lodge too! YMMV

We were thinking about staying in dubois and going up everyday. Can you leave your enclosed trailer up at tog or one of the lots and not have to worry about anything hapening? This is only the second time we have been to tog. Thanks

We stayed in Jackson Hole last week and left our trailer up at the lodge... Worked great.
A bit of a longer drive but lot more options for food and other things in Jackson.
