I looked all over the net lots of different options. I'm buying a 3"pc for my 15 m8000 162, stock can and headlight delete. I ride trees and 6-9000' mostly. Do I go to 7t drives and gear up or just keep the 8tooth and put the extra money towards something else?

2017 Drop case

I think it's worth it.
I'm doing mine.
I don't like the 7 tooth drivers that are in my 2016 ltd.
I read somewhere that a air pressure sensor was put in the tunnel on sled with a 3 inch track and 8 tooth drivers and the air pressure in the tunnel was surprisingly high.
It's possible that tki did the air pressure check but I can't be sure if it was them or somebody else???

Drop and rolled chain chase is just like they did on the first mountain cats. I owned one the 900, great sled. But with these new sleds I would have to ride one to see if it makes a difference or if it just marketing . Thanks ever for the input it great hearing other options I ride with mostly popos

I'm guessing less air pressure would allow more track speed.
There'd be more room for snow to evacuate the tunnel also.
I'm doing this work to a 800 turbo with a 174X3 inch track and a Kmod rear skid.
