You will find that most of the good mountain ridding in central oregon cascades is in the wilderness areas. With increased patrols and the $5000 fine it has become less of a good idea.

The best mountain riding in NW Oregon, is in Washington. Mt Adams has 5 snow parks plus you can just park outside of Trout Lake are ride lower elevations when there is snow. You can ride up to 11,500 feet by staying out of the wilderness area, or go on to the east side. Awsome scenery. Mt. St. Helens is second with two snow parks. You can sled on the east or west side. Many people ride to the top and some fall in. Mt Hood is a kiddies run compared to Mt Adams and Mt St Helens. No hills. Mt. Bachelor is only slightly better than Mt Hood. Paulina Peak is slim pickins as well, but the Bend riders think that it is OK.

Thatguy-I can agree with most of your advice, but I would disagree with the patrolling part on the Rez. Be very careful because they can be pretty aggressive on that day. Also might want to edit to avoid the attention of your advertisement of Rez riding.
