So i am running an internal gated Silber on my Pro. It has the tank and oil pump which I do like because there is always fresh oil getting circulated through the bearing. But I judo like the thought of deleting the tank and running silbers updated oiling kit. What is everyone seeing for reliability of the oil pumps vs. the newer kits?

good question hopefully folks will chime in

the only issue i've had with my injector oil setup
is the supply line melting (stock vents )
i'm going to replace the section nearest the turbo with
a braided line

got roughly 1200 miles on mine turbo seems happy

some folks aren't fans of the injector oil setup
but with 3 or more companies running it i think we would've heard of increased failures ?

I agree. I might try to plumb in a pressure switch post oil pump with an idiot light just so I know the pump is still working. That is my main concern. Is it worth the $200 for the update or stick with what I have?

well it's not a lot of hardware for $200

but it cleans the exhaust side up a bunch and
shaves weight
the few older kits I've seen the tank leaked and it was a mess
so if you got oil leaking then i'd say its well worth the bucks

if you're considering maybe look at the install directions and see if you wanna take it on
not hard but takes a little work
good luck

I couldn't find the install directions online anywhere. Do you have any info on parts needed?

For me the old system never failed me but always leaked oil from the tank at some point.

The tankless system is much cleaner and you do not have to worry about the electric pump failing. When the pump does fail you will loos the turbo and maybe more.

The delete works great and is very clean.

Thank you. I am thinking about just ordering the kit. On a side note where does everyone tap in for a boost gauge? I want to run an analog and would like to know where everyone is getting the most accurate reading.

no offense but is that a serious question ?

if so the extra oil is forced through seals gets burned up
in exhaust or into intake side
i'm always hoping that most of it goes intake side and lubes reeds and bottom end
there is a fair amount of oil in my intake tube and throttle bodies
