Are any of you guys gearing up from the stock chain case gearing on the 3"? Just ordered a Silber turbo yesterday, and wondering if I should go with a 42 bottom gear with the stock chain. Planning on using the stock 40deg helix.

Following as well, I'll be running a TKI belt drive on the 3 in with stock gearing and Silber at 7# boost

I have a 163" 3" and just installed a Silber for this season. I also switched to TKI belt drive. I went with his equivalent to stock gearing with the 25T top and also purchased a 26T to try out. To me, the 3" seemed to be geared a little low from the factory.
I am going from the stock 19/44 to a 20/43 for this season. I already have the gears and just need to install. I felt like the sled need more load and should perform even better. It hits the rpm/speed limit way to fast with the stock gearing and can easily pull more.
