Can I run 4lb of boost at sea level in my Silber setup on 91 octane non ethanol? If so where do I get the spring? Also what's the most boost I can run at sea level safely with a 50/50 mix of AV? And what boost can I run on 50/50 at 6k feet?

Silber recommends anything under 3-4 k feet elevation to run 5 lbs on pump... I do it all the time no problems. Just tell them send you the 5 lbs spring it's got good boost to it.

Just so I'm clear I can run 5lbs at 1500'? And if something is not right will the sled kick the det warning before I burn it down?

Yes your det sensor will kick but you won't have any issues at 5 lbs. I ride from my house at times and that's at 1000 feet no issues ever. Call Justin at silber he will tell you what to do. If you're really nervous about it put gallon of AV gas or race every tank but I've ran pump all year at 5 lbs

I would be careful running 5 on pump at that elevation and I dont think these Axys sleds throw the DET code like the Pro did... Well not as easy.

In some cases the pump you buy really does not have enough octane for a stock sled, just be careful.

I started mixing a gallon of AV at 5 lbs at elevation just to feel good about it but ran whole season from elevation to 8000 ft on 5 lbs and 91 pump never seen a det light thrown or missed a beat.. That's what Justin at silber said to do... Play it safe run 3-4 lbs but if you gunna spend couple grand on boost you should make it worth it!

I ride 8000-12000 in elevation, and ran 7 lbs on straight 91 non-ethonal all season without any issues. Looking at piston wash, no signs of det. occuring. 650 miles with the boost.
