Clutch issue...help....

I have a 2001 M Max with a 151-2". Heel clicker clutching, 21/39 gearing, roller rooster secondry, green spring, 70 deg twist. Primary seems to slip at times. I can smack on it and sometimes it is good. Let off and hit her again = slipping. Primary has belt residue on sides. Not sure wtf is going on. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Have you checked the bushings? In the weights, rollers, face plate and the sliding plate.

Is it clean?

You may need to take it off the sled and carefully inspect every peace looking for abnormal wear.

I had clutch off- cleaned/inspected a couple times.

Had one do the same thing turned out the secondary needed to be set one setting stiffer did that never had problem again

Gonna put the stock secondary back on and see.
