I have a 2004 mtn viper and was wanting to know what is the best aftermarket head and do they really improve performance? Engine is stock with slp triple pipes with stingers. Thanks. Also can anyone recommend someone in southern Idaho to port the jugs?

HIGHLY recommend the Bender head gasket if you have the head off, read on Benders site why.

When they were available the peak performance heads with interchangeable domes were pretty good. Best mod I have heard of for the viper is to get the head cut to balance compression.
Sad to say, but it's getting hard to keep updating our decade old sleds to keep them current. My mountain max has just about everything I could find for it, weather aftermarket or oem+. Yamaha's were never that popular with the deep lug crowd, so the aftermarket guys let the stuff fall by the wayside pretty quickly.
