Hello,

I have a couple of Polaris primary clutches to overhaul this winter & was curious as to what parts people prefer using? OEM or other?

Bushings, rollers, pins, buttons, etc.

I overhauled a smaller Polaris primary this summer, using an EPI kit & wasn't impressed with some of the components. The spider roller pins were .001" smaller than the OEM pins which resulted in a slip fit rather than a tap/press fit in the spider. Also, the O.D. of the heads of the weight bolts were larger which didn't allow the bolts to sit properly against the holes in the sheave. The quality of the bushings for the moveable sheave & outer cover seemed to be fine but only time will tell on durability.
