Hello, ive got a 2009 iqr chassis with a 2012 800 cfi engine in it. I recently installed a 2013 silber turbo/bullydog in it. My question is will the 10%ethanol/prem resistor still work even though i had to replace the 2012 ecu with a 2013 ecu to make the turbo work with the bully dog. The 2012 has the resistor that you manually change in the harness. The 2013 i believe you can change in the cluster..... What im thinking is that if i get poorer octane fuel and im not able to blend enough 110 i could install the ethanol resistor for more det protection???? Does any of that make sence. There is times where i may run out of fuel up north where there isnt a any premium fuel and all can carry is 3 gallons extra. Ive got the small 8 gallon tank on the iqr so im always out of fuel first !!

Thanks!

You can't just plug in the 13 ecu. The electrical system is completely different. I think you will have issues.

You have to change the injectors to 2013 ones and run the 2012 harness with them. All the electrical works and the sled runs great. Only thing im not sure of is about the ethanol resistor......

If you have to run less octane fuel then what your tuned for the resistor isn't gonna matter, the fuel quality change alone will make the sled not run right, and the resistor won't overcome this. That would be least of your worries

The 13-15 ecu is a direct swap for the 12. We have done more than 50 of them. I guess if a guy had the wiring diagram they could compare the 2 but I have not done it.

No idea how it is working properly. The entire electrical system is different from a 12 to 13. Even the stator. Then once you hit 15' some things change again. Even the TPS is different. It's nice that it swaps, I just don't know quit how it's functioning properly.
