Anybody else get a recall in the mail for the brake line being too close to the clutch? I wasn't aware this had been a problem.

Makes sense though. If it is too close there is a possibility of heat transfer from the clutches to the break fluid in the line which in turn will expand and could cause the break shoes to drag causing more heat and ultimately leading to break fade or worse failure This is the first i have heard of the issue though good to know.

I believe it mentioned something about being too close to the clutch and upon full shift it could interfere with it. Its calling for an inspection to see if it was installed properly and see if it got nicked or not. Possible line replacement.

I had clutch contact on mine, right after the turbo install at about 150 mi - no brakes. Brake line banjo nut was tightened from the factory with line positioned too close to clutch. Dealer happened to be testing it when it failed.

While doing my track swap this weekend, I checked out my brake line. Looked fine, I had it shimmed for the Nytro belt also. I went ahead and moved it about 1/4" closer to the bulkhead since I already had to bleed the brakes.
