Put a 3" PC track on a '09 M1000 last year with stock 8T drivers. It fits, just doesn't leave a lot of room for ice buildup on the front cooler. Left the 60/60 gearing stock since it's running a big bore. Might want to go to 57/63 gears if you are still running a stock motor.

Can't help you out on where to find a good deal in Canada, sorry.

I have a 3" PC on a TM1000, it fits but really is too close to the cooler in real world applications. The outer lamination of the paddles wears off on the cooler at high speeds. Really to do it right you need 7T.

You may be better off with the 2.6" Powerclaw, More clearence on the front cooler. The track speed with the 2.6" is going to be better. Performance wise I would bet that a 2.6" Vs. a 3" is right there with each other do to the increase of track speed. In deep snow the 3" is going to bottleneck snow between the cooler and the track.

I would take a look at the new 2.8 conquer tracks USA should be getting them in soon at a reasonable price!

I have to agree with Rose Lake Renegade on this one, I was going to stuff a 3" in my 2010 M8 sno-pro but it was TIGHT! I opted for a CE 156x2.5 and wow, what a huge improvement over the wimpy soft 2.25". The difference really is remarkable and you will not need to re-gear that thousand, It will pull flat land clutching up to 5000-6000ft with just a grunt and a little less RPM. My 07 M1000 often spent the first day out west clutched for 2500ft. (tired after a 15hr drive!). Next day toss on the mountain set up and rock&roll...
