what can I do to troubleshoot this problem?
I just purchased a 09 Turbo M6. the reverse doesn't work. Ideas?

The first place to start would be with the reverse button. You can test it to make sure that it is actually doing it's job. Next step would be to make sure that the ECU has not been swapped out. A lot of the racers keep a good race ECU from sled to sled. If it has a 2008 ECU, it would not have the engine reverse function capability in the ECU motherboard.
Start there and let's see what you come up with. that is what I was given from racin Station. Thank U very much!, not exactly sure how to test the switch?? but wil check the Ecu, need a wait a few days, sled is 750 miles away.

I'm pretty sure you can just OHM check the switch. If it's two wire, then I'm fairly certain thats what you can do.
The M6 does not have engine reverse. It has the servo motor and reverse gears.
