Tried those guys but no dice, I ended up bringing some from Laramie. Thanks much! He mentioned Texaco or Alpine market possibly for anyone else that might be looking.

Best place to get race fuel is Hanson Oil in Afton, but you will need to be there on a weekday. There prices are also pretty reasonable....... I rode out of Bedford today. Snow was not crusty down low like it has been near the valley floor west of the Alpine. About half way up it got pretty good, sinking in about a foot. Snow is better in the trees and more shaded areas, in all everyone was happy with the conditions. Good carving and can climb most anything. We did not see any fresh slides, but were careful. Did hear of a guy that got buried in Indian Creek (Snake River Range) yesterday. He got out of it ok. There must still be a few boobie traps around. Also some of the south facing slopes that get a lot of sun felt like there was a thin ice crust down about 8", but this was only in a few select areas. Two different groups on two separate days have told me that blindbull was awesome. 1-3 feet of softer snow and not many tracks.

Not much has changed. We are supposed to get a warmer storm on Wednesday of a few inches up high. Temps are forecasted for mid 30's in the Valley, and cooling off with another chance of snow on the weekend.

Light rain in the Valley last night. Temps in the valley are mid 30's. Snotel sites look like 2-4" inches over 8000' last night with temps at about 30. Forecast is for a little cooler for the rest of the week with another chance of snow after Sunday.

It rained in the valley overnight. Looks like snow over 7000 feet. Snowtel sites have been about 30-32 degrees the last 24 hours and have picked up about 5-7 inches. Targhee ski resort is reporting 9 inches in the last 48 hours and Jackson hole 12". The forecast is for a stronger and slightly cooler storm coming through tonight.

I hit Willow on Jan 17. It was a beautiful bluebird day after the previous night's snow. Hubba hubba.

Renters rode Blind Bull yesterday. They said it had couple feet of new dry snow. The valley is somewhat of a sloppy mess, but the high country got a great hit from this last storm.

Any updates for the forecast for Saturday? I see it's supposed to rain in alpine any idea of what the mountains could see for snow? Heading up tomorrow evening.
