Our group is possibly looking at going to the snowies presidents weekend. I wondering what the conditions are out there? Also I'm the only one in our group that's been there but it's been over 10 years. Any advise on where to go and where to stay? Possibly someone will be there that could show us around one day.

Couple feet of fresh snow out there now - I have friends out there this week.....

If you stay on the Centennial side the Old Corral is pretty decent and then you can trailer up to the riding area each day or you can stay on the Saratoga side and stay at 10 mile Inn and ride out of there each day. Worst case if everything is full, you can stay in Laramie also.

Been going to the snowies since 2004 and have stayed at almost all of these. They are all good places to stay. It's more about what you want. Do you want to ride out from where you slept? Or do you want to stay where you have to trailer to and from every day? I prefer to stay on the mountain and sled right from our front door. I'm not much for the after sledding bar scene either but to each their own. Besides my liver is still trying to detox from my time spent in the military. Any and all of these listed are good choices depending on your preferences of morning and evening activities.

We will be out this weekend and most likely staying in Centennial.

Good luck to you.

The west side is just as good as the east side. All good places.

Concrete on Sat (still had a blast). Sunday it snowed some - we left about 2:00pm and it was still snowing but didn't look like it would be big. Looks like it snowed some today and maybe some later this week.
