98 mm 600 blink codes

I know someone know the blink codes for the old MM 600...I have 3 long blinks followed by two shorts...anyone have the complete list in case I can't count flashes???

I just downloaded the service manual for a 97 MM600 because I too am having code issues. I don't see anything on three long and two short flashes on the diagram. Mine is two long and three short which is the smart carb solenoids which I have tested a million times. Shoot me your email address and I'll send you this download.

These are from the 2001 shop manual. Not sure if the 98 has the 600 twin or 600 triple as I have an 02 700.

The 3 blinks will be your diagnostic system self check followed by the trouble code. Code's will take a severity priority so if you overheat it will start blinking that code and ignore the ones lower down.

Do yourself a favor and replace those smart carbs with the carbs from a 97/98 model that had regular carbs...once the smart carbs go bad there is no remedy. Just converted 2 600`s and they run better than ever without those $&$@?+ smart carbs...Got my replacements off eBay..can,t remember the model off hand as I bought the carbs last year...36mms mikunis.

I have a set of carbs from a 97 mm 700 if you want them, if they fit. They have dial-a-jets on them also.
