The speedometer stopped working on my 2011 M8. My first thought was speed sensor, so I put a new one in, and still have nothing. What else should I look at? I don't see any troubleshooting procedures in the service manual. Any suggestions are appreciated. Just to clarify, the LCD still shows RPM, altitude, etc just fine, just no speed at all. Thanks

Clean off the dust around the magnet.

Mine does this every so often. I bought a new sensor too before figuring this out.

Worth a shot and free.

I cleaned up everything good with brake cleaner. Speedo still didn't work. I'm wondering if it's the gauge. I have another gauge with a shot lcd, but working needle. I'll have to give it a try.
