i had the displeasure of installing a motor for a customer of mine that was sold buy code red performance as having 700-800 miles on it after supposedly been replaced by the manufacture at about the same mileage come to find out some one had just replaced the rod barrings and left the oil pres relief spring out so the motor was short lived
after this snowjw was contacted to see if he would reimburse any thing for the motor he said had 700-800 miles to witch he replied its a performance motor no warranty
yet the motor was stock and was run stock for the whole 1hr that it ran before seizing up
so in short get a written warranty from him
