This was from this morning.
Has gotten much worse today.

Basic Information
Current as of 7/26/2016, 9:37:59 AM
Incident Type Wildfire
Cause Lightning
Date of Origin Monday July 11th, 2016 approx. 11:00 PM
Location 20 miles northwest of Dubois, WY
Incident Commander Rick Connell
Current Situation
Total Personnel 643
Size 8,020 Acres
Fuels Involved

The fire is burning in dense standing dead timber that spreads slowly except for when weather allows for continuous heating of heavy fuels and/ or exposure to wind. When weather aligns for growth, trees are torching and producing short range spotting leading to the majority of the growth.
Significant Events

Currently, the south flank of the fire is pushing east and hooking around near the Sand Butte area. If the direction of spread continues, the fire will be lined up to be pushed by the wind towards the Union Pass road. For these reasons the following areas are now in stage "GO" and need to evacuate immediately:

- Union Pass,

- Porcupine,

- Warm Springs,

- Hat Butte
Outlook
Planned Actions

Crews will continue working with landowners to protect property through point zone protection, evaluation, and preparation of structures.
Projected Incident Activity

Resources will focus on structure protection as needed in evacuated areas and continuing with actions to reduce fire spared as needed for point protection.
Current Weather
Weather Concerns

Weather conditions will remain conductive to the fire growth over the next 24-48 hours. High temperatures will continue to approach 75 degrees with low humidity and gusting winds.

For those of you not on Facebook. Crooked Creek posted this yesterday afternoon.

Here are a couple photos from Tuesday evening when the fire was pressing hard. Unbelievable what great work the firefighters did to hold it back!

Looks like it is at 95% containment. They are down to 115 assigned to the fire. Looks like it's at just under 15,000 acres burned. Not a huge fire but it did open up some new riding.
