[FONT=Arial,sans-serif]For the 2016 snow season, Tom’s Snowmobile has partnered with Elka Suspension to offer an affordable and superiorly simple suspension package for[/FONT] the Ski-Doo brand sleds, more specifically the T-3 models. This new kit will consist of 2 ski shocks featuring an internal floating piston, a threaded spring preload adjustment and dual-rate spring configuration. Those are combined with a matching front track shock (center), also featuring IFP, threaded preload adjustment but with a single rate spring configuration. The kit finally includes the matching non-coilover rear track shock with an external remote reservoir. These shocks are built using only premium quality components and precision craftsmanship continue throughout the product. Tuned and calibrated in collaboration with Tom’s Snowmobile, these products combine the experience of both companies into an easy-to-use package that you can simply install then enjoy immediately.

Very cool package and great price! Will customers be able to pay an additional amount to upgrade any of the shocks to have compression adjustment or piggy backs?

I am sure those options will be available to those that want them. I imagine that this set up is a great stating point, and will most likely cover 95% of the customers needs. As Tom is valving them and setting them up with dual rate springs.

anybody call and talk to Tom about this setup, interested to hear more about it and if you can upgrade certain shocks with piggy backs and compression adjustment, and what the price of that would be.

I like your style!
This kit can be upgraded, yes. We have not worked out all the details yet. We would like to try to keep the first kit as simple as possible to help keep cost down. The next step up will be to offer adjustment on the rear track. What are you looking for; dual speed compression, rebound, or both?

He already said 1200 for all 4 shocks with above mentioned set up. Anything past that would be custom parts which will be " custom " price. ......

Weight I would think should be pretty light given Elka builds quality lightweight stuff. But we'll have to wAit for Tom or someone who has a set to weigh.
