Is this a three tower or four tower drive clutch? What set up is in the driven clutch. Helix angle, spring, torsional or compression? what kind of rpm are you seeing? If this is really a three tower clutch with 70 gram weights at that altitude it must run like a bad running 600.:face-icon-small-sho

I don't get it. secondary is factory AC ti spring and stock helix. 3 tower primary clutch and I'm running 7400 RPM max on flat ground. Chart on Clutch cover suggests I should be at 70 grams at my altitude maybe 72. And no the sled doesn't run anything like a 600.

That chart is for a 4 tower clutch...:face-icon-small-sho

So it's asking for 70x4 (280 total) and you're giving it 70x3 (210 total) At that alt you should be running 85+, maybe 90? Someone who knows lower elevation will kick in I'm sure.

7400 is way too high on that sled, it wants 7200, by 7300-7350, you're losing power. You can likely throw a decent bit more weight at it before it starts losing rpm.

Something is wrong! That sled should be bouncing off the rev limiter with 70s! They came wih 75s bone stock with high altitude clutching! 7200 is good with stock pipe but to low for a slp pipe! It likes 7500-7600! &7700 on a speedwerx Trust me! You need to look at a new Primary spring more then likely! Also id say check compression or take pipe off and look down Y-pipe! You may have a fried top end! You should be pulling every bit of 80s! what are the numbers in your Bd box?? what angle is your secondary?

This M1000 should be right with or Kick those Xms Asses depending on the Guy riding it! Modified 1000s are very capable machines when set up right! They can give pg turbos a good run!

He has a stock pipe.

It has A diamond S hood. Barkbuster front end. Fox floats. 2007 rear skid. y pipe and lightweight can. Boss seat. boondocker programmer. two wheel kit in rear of skid. Factory pipe. I ride 3000 to 6500 feet.

7200... way more weight.
