Looking done NOW

Went into the Wind River Range this weekend. Thursday was all rain, that night we camped in Titcomb Basin and it snowed some up high. Friday was rain almost all day, that night it snowed more up high and was off and on snow at 10200. Saturday around 1pm it switched from rain/snow mix to all snow and it started to accumulate. We left at that point as one in the group had a wet down sleeping bag (wet down=no insulation). There was even a dusting down near the trailhead @ 9500'

Less than two months and we'll be road riding in WY

Does anyone from Togwotee Mountain Lodge routinely post conditions on this thread? If not, that sure would be nice to have on here.

Update! Up on togwotee pass about 3 miles south past togwotee lodge at parking area snow is up to waist. Pictures to follow. Testing out new motor makes sure it's all set. Snowing like crazy this morning!

13 hours...............my goodness! if i was driving that far, i would wait until i knew there was snow. even if it wasnt the best snow........at least you'd know there was something to ride on besides rocks and stumps

All the good snow is presently at the top of the divide. Below that it's recommended to stay on the roads....Getting better with each passing storm.
