M7 oil pump bleeding off

So im hopin for a little help. If i fill my oil reservoir to the top the oil bleeds off through the pump, into the intake, down the bulkhead and then into a big puddle on the floor. I guess i am wondering if the little check valves before the oil pump have anything to do with my problem or is a $300 pump in my future. Anyone ever run into such a problem???

They are the check valves. Had this happen with a 06 m7 and 08 m8 replaced them and the oil leak stopped.

The check valve gets stuck open i have seen it alot. Usually replacing the pump is needed.
