Anyone done this, found several threads but no after install reports.

What is required to install the LW race crank in 2014 800 cases???

Will it operate the oil pump?

Are the rods that come with it compatible with the 800's 70mm stroke???

Different PTO/Mag side bearings?

Oil pump .. yes

believe so on the rods..

other tech stuff not sure.

Durability seems to be fine. There is just a lack of inertia with the new crank that you need to tune for. It takes completely different set ups. Some rave about it, some don't like it, and for some(me) the verdict isn't in yet. I don't have one, just around a few.

I was all ready to do one this fall, and I was told to wait a year, for more testing.

Can anyone confirm if it's manufactured by fugi or is it a mape crank?

Got the word, it is a direct swap for the stock 800 crank - good news

Now, my big concern is will it require tinkering with the fuel map I have?
The map maker doesn't think the little extra case volume will effect the fueling requirements, but, obviously, will not say for certain for obvious reasons.

All the cranks from the race dept are Fuji and yes it appears you need to modify the fueling

For those that may wonder WHY a crank would alter fueling needs...

The LW crank allows more volume in the case as there is less material on the crank, in the case. The engine breathes and pumps differently because of that change.
