I want to go to a 3" track but can't decide which track to go with. I am putting it on my 13 163 pro. I am debating going with a center punched X3, or a 3" powerclaw center punched. i want to run avid drivers also.I have heard that the pc is a little lighter than the x3 and more durable. I am concerned about the powerclaw design though. what are your thoughts? I'm really torn and concerned about being burned by a cat design again , help:noidea:

Call Carl's Cycle Sales - they have the 3" setup dialed in. I'm running it with their clutching and it is awesome.

I went with the center punched X3 and the center drive Avids. I looked at the 3 inch PC but don't care for that lug pattern. Some guys claim the engine is easier to keep cool with the PC but I don't have any issues with the X3 running the stock scratchers. Eric

X3 is pretty stiff for deep pow conditions IMO. If the powerclam 3" is a little more flexible, I would be inclined to try that. I think that may be the case (based on other PC's), but I have not seen one (3" PC) in person, however.

Running the X3 center punched with Avid Drivers and basically a Carl's clutch kit. So far so good.

why are you guys running the centerpunch tracks instead of just getting the normal drivers since you have to buy anyway? so you dont have to cut the rails and get antistab?

I would look into the ski-doo 3" works good from what I can tell.

Im wanting a peak 3.0 to be made.
For durability I wouldn't run a centerpunched track, I've had a stump get in the center port and tear that lug/rod on my CE 2.5
