Is it true that the arctic cat belts 627046 and 48 belts work very good on the pro's asking because I have one of each new
Good to know before I give them away

048 belt works very good. You do have to make a slight adjustment with the secondary to get the side clearance correct. Eric

TRS recommended a belt. It was a Gates (44C4553) belt. Ran one weekend on it so far and it looks good. Under $100.00 on Amazon.

Over 1000 miles on my 048 this year with zero issue. RPMs are spot on still.

Been running them on all 4 of my pros since 2012. Never blown one but until this season I usually change them around 700-800 miles just because they are cheap and there's a performance gain with a new belt.

These belts are better than the stock ones. Not looking forward to the axys requiring a polaris belt again.

What kind of adjustment do you mean?

Look at your secondary clutch, there is a stud sticking out you can put an allen wrench in with a jam nut on it. You have to loosen nut and back off the stud a bit 1-2 turns? cant recall exactly what it took. This allows your secondary sheeves to move closer together and get the correct belt deflection. This is the same adjustment you should be making as your polaris belt wears. Most people
never mess with it, they just put on a new 200.00 belt. Eric
