Default Mod factory pipe off 09 D8.

Has anyone out there sent in their factory pipe off an 09 D8 to Bikeman or any other pipe company to have it "tuned" for their sled? Thinking about having it done, just searching for some feedback. Thanks

Haven't seen Bikeman talked about much on here. What exactly are they doing to mod the factory pipe or how are they tuning it to your sled? All I did was have mine ceramic coated.

Typically, they add about 5mm length to the middle of the pipe and add an internal stinger. Depending on the sled this can be a good mod, sometimes adding up to 10hp. Low level dyno testing is not showing a lot of gain on this motor. A higher and wider power curve is provided by the SLP single.

That's what I plan on as well. I think it was Extreme that dynod all the sleds with some mods at elevation. I don' think they were able to get many gains on the 800 Polaris motor with aftermarket pipes.
