When will the 2014 part numbers be out so that we can look into the new pulleys and belt?

I didn't purchase a spare belt last year so it makes sense to get the 2014 version to either install or carry with.

Not sure about upgrading the pulleys. We'll see what they cost.

I didn't realize they were upgrading the pulleys as well as the belt, thats interesting. Maybe they will have some gearing options too if they are doing new pulleys, wouldn't that be nice.

The 14' does have a new qd belt-2205250 KIT, BELT, QUICKDRIVE and is compatible on the 13's. BUT the 14' does also have a new upper sprocket- 3222204 SPROCKET, 21T which ISN'T compatible with the 13' due to the jackshaft also being different-1333219 ASM., JACKSHAFT. So Im guessing this is to help reduce heat and tighten up the tolerances on the 14'. And who said that the 14's only had BNGs:)

I checked the parts fiche as well the other night and I would have sworn the upper sprocket was the same and the bottom was different. I'll look again. Unless you know for sure they will not interchange, I don't think I'd post that based solely on a part number change. The part number changes I noted where the jack shaft, driveshaft, belt, and lower sprocket, but like I stated, I will reverify and update accordingly.

UPDATED: I just checked and according to the '14 Fiche; the upper sprocket is indeed the same. They changed / assigned a new number to the lower sprocket PN 3222220. So in my opinion, the new and the old will indeed interchange, again just my opinion.

I visited with my dealer about this earlier, who checked with Polaris, and they claimed (Polaris) the belt was the only part that was interchangeable. The upper sprocket was not. The only thing we determined that could allow the belt to be interchangeable but not the sprocket must be the jackshaft.... But I guess we will see when the 14 pros show up. I will see if the 14 parts fit on my 13.

You are right, I took some photo's at Hay Days (they had a demo unit showing off the unique aspects of the Polaris) but can't read the part number on the belt (too close with the camera to focus). The top pulley number (3222204 - 21T) shows up but the bottom part number (3222220) does not.

Do you have the part number for the new belt? I haven't found an on-line parts with the 2014 info.

Thanks.

So have you guys determined anything else here since it's been a week or so?

I was curious if the NEW QD belt was BETTER or just New?? I did buy a spare, but would try and exchange it.

Would also love to know about the gears and Jackshaft issue too...thanks.:face-icon-small-win

Pictures of the the new 14 jack-shaft end and bolts

I stopped in to see the guys at Fun Country Motor Sports today as they were willing to disassemble one of the their new 14 Pros so that I could get some pictures and take some measurements .
Thanks again for the help
As there are some differences the 14's have the threads recessed about 0.82 deep and require a longer bolt both the bolts now have flange-style heads and require a 14 m.m. wrench
