Travel Guide
Alberta
Diverse is really the only way to describe snowmobiling in Alberta. From the mountains to the prairies, there is every kind of snowmobile riding available, from mild to wild and everything in between.

The province has a well-maintained and diverse system of trails, stretching in every direction from the southwest corner near Crowsnest to way up north near High Level. The majority of the trail systems are in central Alberta, with individual systems fanning out from Edmonton to the province’s border with Saskatchewan to the east and British Columbia to the west. Some of the systems are small—only 50-100 km long—while others can be 500-1,200 km long. Many of the systems interconnect, allowing sledders to see lots of different country.
