Available to consumers in September, the new packaging immediately differentiates Mystik from other oils while still promoting the high performance brand.
“The packaging is much more than an aesthetic change; the superior functionality of Mystik’s easier to grip and faster-pouring bottle is an advancement in the automotive and equipment maintenance experience,” Karl Schmidt, general manager of petrochemicals and lubricants for CITGO, said. “We have spent the last year perfecting the design and are excited to launch the powerful new look.”
The edgy branding has a distinctive look with bold colors that stand out from the new Mystik bottles. Quick Response (QR) codes displayed on the front label of every bottle provide an interactive experience. When scanned by a smart phone, the QR code directs people to Mystik’s website, commercials and more. Additionally, a mono-layer with view stripe shows the amount of oil remaining in the bottle.
