Fly Racing's Snocross Champ Makes A Fan For Life

News

Snocross national champion Ross Martin, who races for Judnick Motorsports/Jack Link's Polaris, made a fan for life after the national finals in Lake Geneva, WI, March 21, 2010.

Martin had a stellar season this year; he was on the podium for every weekend of racing (16 podiums), won an X-Games silver medal in snocross, won the Pro Open championship and finished second in the Pro Super Stock class. After Martin won his last race of the season and was crowned the national champ, he autographed his 2010 Fly F2 Carbon Snocross helmet and gave it to an unsuspecting fan.

The lucky fan, Josie Jakel, couldn't have been happier. She jumped for joy and had tears of happiness as Martin presented her with his autographed Fly Racing helmet in front of the race fans that came to watch the action and thousands of online viewers.

Fly Racing would like to thank Ross Martin, his teammate Mike Bauer, and the whole Judnick Motorsports/Jack Links/Dupont Polaris race team as they put Fly Racing on the podium 28 times out of the 37 possible this season-11 of those podiums being first place finishes.

The team took home two championships: Pro Open and Semi-Pro Super Stock No. 1. The team also placed second in Pro Super Stock and Semi-Pro Super Stock No. 2. A silver medal at the X-Games rounded out the team's full trophy case.
