The Inn At Arrowhead Under New Ownership, Caters To snowmobilers

News

Cimarron, Colo. - James and Kathleen Belgard of Grand Junction, CO, have announced their purchase of The Inn at Arrowhead, located five miles off Highway 50, halfway between Montrose and Gunnison.

The couple purchased The Inn in August of 2009 and are extremely excited to bring it back to its former reputation as a premier sled-in/sled-out lodge.

"Snowmobilers are our focus for the winter months and we welcome them to The Inn," Kathleen Belgard said. "Our goal is to turn the Inn into a destination snowmobiling lodge."

From the lodge, guests can access many miles of groomed trails and countless powder meadows and trees.

Situated high on the Alpine Plateau, The Inn at Arrowhead offers a full service restaurant, bar and lodging. Every room is well appointed and spacious and each is equipped with its own gas fireplace.

With on-site trailer parking and direct access to the uncrowded riding on the Alpine Plateau, it's a great place to spend a weekend. "The Inn is really ideal because snowmobilers can arrive, unload, and ride right from the front door," James added.

In addition to the riding on the Alpine Plateau, the Inn is located within a 30-minute drive from several other world class snowmobiling areas, including Black Mesa and the Little and Big Cimarron valleys; and within 90 minutes of the riding at Lake City and Kebler Pass/Crested Butte.

The Inn at Arrowhead is open Thursday through Sunday each week.
